MMA news – UFC 73 suspensions.

UFC 73 Fighter medical suspensions were released by the California State Athletic Commission. Most injuries listed below can be cleared early by a doctor or the CSAC. The no contact generally means no hard training or sparing during the suspension. This is done for precautionary measures more then anything.
Mark Bocek: 45 days/30 days with no contact due to TKO. 60 days with no contact due to laceration (can be cleared by doctor early)

Heath Herring: 60 days with no contact due to left cheek damage, and eyebrow and nose lacerations

Tito Ortiz: 60 days with no contact due to right eye damage and lower-back pain

Nate Marquardt: 30 to 45 days with no contact due to TKO. 60 days with no contact due to lacerations around both eyes

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: 30 to 45 days with no contact for precautionary reasons.

Alvin Robinson: 30 to 45 days with no contact due to TKO.

Jorge Gurgel: Suspended indefinitley for a broken jaw and facial fractures.

Frank Edgar: Suspended 180 days due to nose fracture and no contact.

Jason Gilliam: Suspended 180 days radial collateral ligament damage. No contact.
