Voices for the WONDER WOMAN DVD Movie.

from Aint It Cool?

On the “Batman: Gotham Knight” DVD due in two weeks, there’s a 10-minute featurette on the upcoming animated Wonder Woman DVD movie directed by Lauren Montgomery (“Superman Doomsday”) and based on the 1987 George Perez relaunch that pitted the Amazon princess against god of war Ares.

It’s been known for a few months (but not widely publicized) who landed the roles of Diana of Themyscira and Steve Trevor, but the featurette fills us in on three more key roles:

Keri Russell: Princess Diana
Nathan Fillion: Steve Trevor
Alfred Molina: Ares
Virginia Madsen: Hippolyta
Rosario Dawson: Artemis

Fans of the old Lynda Carter show know Steve is Diana’s flyboy love interest; Hippolyta is queen of the Amazons and Diana’s mom. Artemis is the Amazon who threatens to castrate Steve if he comes “within five yards” of Diana.

The featurette also reveals that the project’s writer is Michael Jelenic, whose credits include “The Batman” and “Legion of Super Heroes” Saturday-morning TV shows.

Random Transformers 2 news.

from L.A. Rag Mag:

Megan Fox spills Transformers 2 secrets.

Megan’s told by the director to “just look sexy.”

So she stands there and tries really hard.

Literally, this is what she said, and that’s why we love Megan.

“You know, we’ve been having script meetings, and we’ve been reworking the script, because they wrote it fast because of the writer’s strike,” she explained. “And, we’ve just been going through and trying to do some character stuff for Shia and myself in the middle of this crazy world that they’re in.”

“I can tell you that we’re on locations in some really exotic places,” she added. “It’s just going to be a badass movie. It’s just going to be a popcorn-visual-spectacle, summer film.”

“His (Director Michael Bay’s) main note to me is just to look hot; so I try my best.”

You always give us what we want Megs! Sexy BEECH!

Marvel’s RUNAWAYS headed to the big screen!

from Aint It Cool News:

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I’m a big Marvel fan, but I only really looked into Bryan K. Vaughan’s RUNAWAYS series during the Civil War crossovers. I’m not a big fan of the super stylized cartoony art (something that almost got me to stop reading Amazing Spider-Man a year or so back), so I didn’t stick with it. I am a big fan of Vaughan’s Y: THE LAST MAN books, so I’m sure if I buckled down and started from issue one I’d get into it, but I have yet to do that. It’s about the super powered teenage children of super villains who run away from home and band together as a group of goodies.

Marvel has announced that they’re going forward with RUNAWAYS, putting it on the slate with flicks like CAPTAIN AMERICA, IRON MAN 2 and ANT MAN to hit sometime between now and 2011. Thoughts?
